Hello Community Members and Organizations!
The 3rd Annual Grand Cities Pride will be a full weekend celebration for GLBTQ people and their allies. This event provides the opportunity to get active and enjoy a community building experience.
We are requesting your support and offering an opportunity for your organization to advertise and/or be present at the Pride Celebration. The event will be held on May 22-23, 2010. The celebration will include food vendors, booths with local and regional organizations, musical entertainment, and our annual Pride and Mary Wiper Ally Awards. Our fabulous annual drag show will be held at Sensations Nite Club following the afternoon gathering.
In strengthening alliances within our community, we wish to join with local citizens, groups, and organizations to improve conditions for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and other cultural and social minority individuals and groups. We hope for this annual event to demonstrate our pride for our Grand Forks GLBTQ community.
We hope to increase our financial sponsorship to cover the cost of web space, venue and table rentals, supplies, and entertainer stipends. We are also interested in donations of give-away prizes or promotional materials from your organizations like pens, sticky notes, bracelets, magnets and brochures. (See below for sponsorship levels.)
